FULL TRUCKLOAD (FTL)
A Full Truckload (FTL) refers to a type of freight shipping where a single shipment fills an entire truck, or where a shipper pays for the use of the entire truck, even if it’s not completely full. Types include Flatbed, Dry Van and Refrigerated.
LESS-THAN-TRUCKLOAD (LTL)
LTL stands for Less Than Truckload. It’s a type of freight shipping used when a shipment doesn’t require a full truck. Your freight shares trailer space with shipments from other businesses. Ideal for shipments between 150–10,000 lbs, 1–6 pallets and Non-urgent deliveries.
HOT SHOT
A Hot Shot truck refers to a smaller, flat bed trailer used to haul time-sensitive, or smaller loads. It's commonly a pickup truck with a gooseneck or flatbed trailer.
BOX TRUCK
A Box Truck shipment refers to freight that is transported using a box truck, also known as a straight truck. These trucks are commonly used for local or regional deliveries, especially for smaller shipments that don’t require a full semi-trailer. Typically 10–26 feet in length and carries up to 10,000–12,000 lbs of freight
